Beach Cities Ski Club was founded on August 21, 1961.

To promote the interest and participation in the sport of snow skiing.

To encourage and foster the ideal of athletics, and particularly skiing and snow related snow sports.

To promote and encourage in the members of the organization the ideals of good sportsmanship, safety in winter sports, and cooperation between local, state, and national winter sports organizations.
