It’s Volleyball Time!

Are you interested in being on a 6-man volleyball team this year? Beach Cities Ski Club and Los Angeles Council of Ski Clubs are running a summer long Tournament. There is one tournament per month and the finals are the fourth month.

There are 3 divisions of play: Advanced, Intermediate and Recreational. We have several teams for each division, but are trying to put together more teams – especially for the intermediate level. If you want to play – email us asap – we’ll put you on a team. Please pass this info along to any friends you have who may be interested!

The dates are:
Sunday, June 14th in Manhattan Beach
Sunday, July 12th in Playa Del Rey
Sunday, August 9th in Manhattan Beach
Sunday, September 13th in Manhattan Beach (Playoffs)

Lynn is putting together a BCSC Recreational Team and we are trying to put together a second BCSC Rec team. Wailers, Aerospace and possibly Century Cities also have Rec Teams involved. This ‘Rec’ division is for fun not AVP players! No high stress or high competition here. Think Jello –Shots, lighthearted banter and Shellback celebrations!Besides, if you are ‘that’ good and competitive, you should be on an intermediate team or higher. And yes, we have Intermediate and Advanced level teams looking for an additional player or two – especially female players!
