Beach Cities Ski Club is also active socially. We meet for Happy Hour at various locations throughout the South Bay every Friday. If you are looking to join a local group that skis, snowboards, and plans activities and parties, come to a happy hour and meet some of our members. The locations we choose typically offer food/appetizer and drink specials, and it's cash bar or share a tab with a table.
The atmosphere is friendly, and it's a good way to check out the group and meet our members with no pressure. Most of our members usually arrive between 5 p.m - 6 p.m, but feel free to arrive earlier if you are able. Check out the list below or on our calendar page.

Polo Match, picnic, historic home tour!! (May 19, 2012)

Come spend a day at The Will Rogers State Historical Park. We will start at 10am with a 2 mile hike in the Santa Monica mountains on the park grounds to inspiration point and then tour the famous historical home.

At noon we will picnic in the grassy open spaces so bring lunch, wine and beach chairs.

Then at 2pm we will head over to the Ronald Reagan Polo Tournament it is Captivating, heart-stopping, thrilling, enthralling - the list of superlatives used to describe the game of kings is almost endless, and YES we will stomp the divots!!

FREE FOR MEMBERS THAT ARE CURRENT

1.5 hour clinic for Intermediate level players

+2 or more hours of free play time (Nets provided)

Coaching provided by Cindy Grebliunas and Chris Starczak

Cindy and Chris will cover the basics, plus 4-man offense and defense... Get ready for the 4-man league this summer !

So come out and meet some new people that play, start forming up some teams for the summer league and have some great fun.

BBQs are held once a month during the summer months. They take place after Wednesday evening volleyball, usually around 7 p.m. New members are always welcome and get in free when they sign up and pay for their membership at the BBQ. So come out and enjoy a good time and some great food.

Map and address will be available on the Monday before BBQ.
